As with many Plus 8 releases, this record's pressing is pretty bad. I bought three copies of this one, none sounding real good. It's a shame since the more ambient tracks of this are to die for and still sound as of today from the future. Chear beauty that needs repress WITH remastering!

yeah same here. my copy has all kinds of noise on it, rendering it unplayable in a set.

jamie hodge was actually a then 17 teen year old from Illinois who grew up on chicago mix shows and had a fascination for technology and computers. he would send demo upon demo to plus 8 and bug them til he landed a deal. it worked. unfortunately, havent heard anything from him in years.

"untitled" and "analogue heaven" share the same catalogue number, the titles of the tracks slightly differ... guess it's pretty much two pressings of one record
Cordann
unbelievable techno by a then 17-year-old kid from Detroit doesn't sound like classic Detroit though, it's even less danceable, but it's got nothing to do with ambient either could be described as a deep, industrial, almost subterranean atmospheres with delicate, simple melodies and unfamiliar but soulful drum patterns, but... it's just wicked, and way too far-out to be described like your regular, functional techno track an EP to die for, post-human soul for life
