Truly jaw-dropping remixes by Coldcut and The Orb. I wonder if Coldcut ever did something similar? I've looked, but haven't found anything. Really deep, trippy sound here. Production quality is outstanding, and honestly I don't think this track will ever sound dated. Truly timeless electronic music.That could also be said about The Orb's cut. Even more mellow, big parts of the track is completely beatless, yet it's truly captivating from start to finish.Both tracks sounds lovely on vinyl, but I'm happy AFD released these tracks digitally through his bandcamp.

The Cutting Branches track - especially in remix - is wonderful - Tom Green is the man behind AFD - formally of The ORB and the OrB remix is good. The Scarborough Fair track should be in everyone's collection - a slice of Afro/Celtic/Dance to stir the soul - done well - the finger piano and violin are wonderful against the beats.
