Crazy
I bought this split 12" mainly for the Lotus Plaza tracks. Oh, how I was wrong. The Lotus Plaza tracks aren't bad, but they aren't memorable. They're remarkable, if at all, mainly for their crisp sound. The music is forgettable. The Odonis Odonis tracks, however, are relatively lo-fi but saturated with intensity. They are dynamic, shoegazery pop songs, with twists and turns that amplify their replay value. If you like abrasive, contemporary psychedelic pop guitar-centric rock music, you should check out this record. Based on these four songs, I recommend Odonis Odonis wholeheartedly.
