"Good Day Today" is a great pop track and it sounds fresh, its timeless

These two tracks display exactly the good and bad of David Lynch in the music industry. First is the awful 'Good Day Today', an electronic-pop travesty that sounds 20 years old; it shows that Lynch is in his own universe, one in which he doesn't hear pop music passing him by. On the other hand we have 'I Know', another of Lynch's dark blues-inspired pieces; if you liked 'Blue Bob' you'll fall in love with this song; the instrumentation is minimal and the production's spot-on.
