I've always thought this song suspiciously short as Prolapse specialised in 8 minute rhythm juggernauts. There was a concerted marketing push behind their third album, from which this song is taken, and my inner cynic wonders if this was an attempt to make themselves a little more radio friendly. Conspiracy theories aside 'Killing the bland' contains everything that made their 25 minute epic 'Flex' great - just inside of 3 minutes.
