The Seduction Of Sapienta written in 1973/74 by David Rosenboom for Viola Da Gamba solo, with voltage controlled resonators. Composed for and commissioned by Dr. Peggie Sampson with assistance from the Canada Council and the New York University Faculty of Fine Arts.Two Pieces For Solo Viola Da Gamba written in 1972 by Murray Adaskin, commissioned by Peggie Sampson through a grant made from the Canada Council.
Improvisation by Peggie Sampson on a theme by Tobias Hume (1605, from the first book of Ayres). Inspired by Christopher Simpson's book "The Division Violist" .
Side A: recorded at the York University. Side B: was recorded at York University and Side B: at the Music Gallery, Toronto.
