Somewhere in between electro and techno with a hint of dub this Dutch talent impresses. At times reminiscent of Silicon Scally, Autechre or even Dopplereffekt and alike. On this release he controls the abstract within the aforementioned musical framework. Thus not getting too much into IDM territory. Little programming highlights are stashed away within the tracks. There is almost no vox in any way what so ever included. VC-118A is carefully and methodically entering musical fields which were previously unknown.
