indeed, BG & the German guys made again a cool work, I also have the PF's WYWH and the JA's Nothing's Shocking and they sound damn good. Honestly, I wish all the albums made today were at the same level.

Superb pressing. Sticker says it was mastered from the original analog tapes. Deep and punchy bass, clear sound overall. If you're a fan of the band or the album, it's a must buy!

Sound quality is excellent on this remaster. There is lots of discussion online about the amazing quality of the US remaster, the limited edition on Red vinyl and the regular in Black. Happy to say the Europe pressing is top notch too.

It's not a secret that "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" is considered one of the all-time best rock albums. What I consider so special about it is the fact that it's the perfect "concept/sound balance" for the Chili Peppers. What I mean is: Their music has passed through different stages, basically going from fast/furious/crazy stuff to a laid back style (comparatively, at least). While BSSM has plenty of "fast n' furious" stuff, it isn't that "crazy" compared to their previous works. This album is RHCP's very first sign of maturity without abandoning their energy and strength as a band. A must on any rock music lover's collection.
