One of the best mills period. Automatic is legendary, driving clean impeccable techno. Native high to me is what the purpose maker is all about, as in percussion, use of samples and darkness combined with playfulness. Like Octave One stuff on 430 West. Only dope djs played this, so you can safely put this gem to work in 2017. Alarms is magic. But my personal fave has to be ride the Rythm. Of course only the cool cats know what sample was used here. And Mills flipped it fabulously into one of the most underrated mills tracks ever. Like driving a horse through the dessert, chasing samples. A beast. Epic EP alround. For real, pick one of these over that shitty bells track if you ever want to be taken seriously as a dj

sounds like Automatic is lifting beat samples from Earth People - Dance (Club Mix) (1989) https://www.discogs.com/Earth-People-Dance/release/66303 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a02qOqMSvFs

Ok, one of the best mills records... But why this distorted sound in all mills records...??? Aargh...
Ffleg
because it adds to the vibe. without the lo-fi aspect to it, they wouldnt sound as dirty and dark :)

Can you imagine a better and darker beat than the one of B1's Automatic? It's straight marching on and on. No vocals, just a perfect beat and every now and then a peace of synth. That's enough and will make your crowd steady moving.
