AutoKratz kicks off their second album, ANIMAL, with pure electro thump of "Always More," while "Stay the Same" nd "Can't Stand Without" get slightly more melodic. The energy rarely flags with these tracks: even with the slower "Speak in Silence," a rock energy seeps into the track. "Can't Get Enough" lets a angry growl through, as does the instrumental "Gone Gone Gone." But, interestingly, the tracks as a whole seem to bleed into one another, somewhat undifferentiated. "Human Highway" introduces some new textures, but even it doesn't pop too terribly much. So a fun listen but quickly forgettable.
